American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Transaction Manager to oversee property transactions, leases, renewals, and related real estate activities. You’ll coordinate due diligence, documentation, and closing requirements to support business objectives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience; a Senior level (7+ years) is also described. Strong negotiation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration are essential in a fast-paced corporate environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Transaction Manager (Salary Grade 6) Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, project management, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience. Experience: Four (4) or more years of relevant experience in real estate transactions, contracts, finance, or related business functions.
• Transaction Manager, Sr (Salary Grade 7) Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, project management, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience. Experience: Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience in real estate transactions, contracts, portfolio strategy, or related business functions.

• Demonstrated negotiation, analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of transaction processes, contracts, financial evaluation, and document coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple deals and competing deadlines.

Compensation Data

Compensation Grade: SP20-006 Compensation Range: $74,551.00 - $109,544.00
