Job summary

Blackstone seeks an Associate in Real Estate within TPM to support underwriting, diligence, and execution of real estate investments across portfolios. You will evaluate opportunities across asset classes and geographies while helping monitor investments and identify themes and ideas.

The role partners with senior investment professionals and offers increasing ownership of deal evaluation, with responsibilities across live opportunities and multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of real estate private equity investing/acquisitions experience.
• Strong financial modeling and underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting and evaluation of real estate investment opportunities, including direct assets, joint ventures, co-investments, and funds.
• Perform extensive due diligence, travel to properties, meet partners, and underwrite markets and business plans.
• Independently design and review financial models, run sensitivity analyses, and identify key drivers with limited oversight.
• Oversee execution of transactions and participate in client meetings and due diligence sessions.
• Draft investment committee memoranda and synthesize findings into clear recommendations.
• Track and analyze portfolio investments, review sponsor reporting, and manage sponsor relationships.
• Prepare materials for internal discussions and client portfolio reviews.
• Conduct market research and comparable analysis using third-party data to support underwriting and idea generation.
