Qualifications

• Be a trusted engagement team member providing federal tax compliance and consulting services.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters for middle market to multinational clients.
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries with client recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, credits and incentives areas.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters.
• Consult on technical matters in corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC740.
• Research various tax matters, respond to IRS inquiries, and make client recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, and credits and incentives.
• Manage engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met.
• Develop internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and revenue.
• Invest in professional development and mentorship as part of firm programs.
