Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required or similar professional degree.
• CPA or JD required for eligibility.
• 5+ years of federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm.
• 2+ years of supervising staff and mentoring associates.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax, accounting and advisory services for small business clients.
• Review accounting records, provide analysis and discuss matters with clients.
• Lead client engagements and improve processes and controls.
• Develop client relationships and address issues with leadership.
• Delegate work, set deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of local, state and federal tax practices.
