Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking an Analyst, Real Estate Strategy to join our Development team. You will analyze sales impacts, develop forecasts, and support site selection and market planning initiatives for restaurant expansion.

You’ll maintain datasets, contribute to forecasting methodologies, and prepare reports. Strong analytical skills, GIS experience, and BI tool proficiency are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in a related field and strong analytical background.
• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, real estate research, market analysis, GIS, retail development, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with GIS, spatial analysis, BI or data visualization tools preferred.
• Experience with Alteryx, FME, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to present findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales impact analysis for proposed New Restaurant Openings using forecasting methods.
• Support Real Estate Managers with analysis and forecasts for site decisions.
• Prepare Real Estate Tour info on sales forecasts and market insights for locations.
• Monitor territory changes and recommend forecast updates.
• Produce monthly/quarterly reports comparing forecasts to actuals and identify variances.
• Perform pre/post-opening sales performance analysis to improve forecasting models.
• Maintain datasets, reporting tools, and models for real estate planning and forecasting.
• Create ad hoc analyses and presentations for market planning and development initiatives.
• Communicate analytical findings to Real Estate Strategy Leadership.
