Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Real Estate Strategy to join the Development team. You will support site selection, new restaurant development, and market planning with impact analysis, forecasting, and data stewardship.

Responsibilities include forecasting for NROs, market insights, and monthly reporting, while maintaining datasets and models to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. or equivalent in business or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, real estate research, market analysis, GIS, or related analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Experience with GIS, spatial analysis, BI or data visualization tools preferred.
• Experience with Alteryx, FME, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales impact analysis for proposed New Restaurant Openings using forecasting methods.
• Support Real Estate Managers with analysis and forecasts for site selection.
• Prepare Real Estate Tour information with forecasts and market insights.
• Monitor territorial changes affecting forecast assumptions.
• Recommend updates to analyses as appropriate.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports comparing forecasts to actuals.
• Analyze pre- and post-opening sales to evaluate forecast accuracy.
• Maintain datasets, reports, and models for real estate planning.
• Create ad hoc analyses and presentations for market planning.
• Present findings to Real Estate Strategy Leadership.
