Staff Accountant – Commercial Real Estate

A leading commercial real estate investment firm based in Laguna Beach is seeking a meticulous and organized Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for real estate and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate with third-party property management accounting teams
• Handle full-cycle accounting, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly internal and investor financial statements
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with business goals
• Leverage Yardi software for accounting and reporting functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting
• Proficiency in Yardi software preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Compensation & Benefits:
