Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes Asset & Real Estate department seeks a Real Estate Specialist to support real estate development, acquisitions, property tax implementation and management related to tribal and off-reservation transfers.

The role administers tribal titles and regulations governing Real Estate Excise Tax and Land Occupation Use Tax processes, delivering public services to the tribal community and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred in Public/Business Administration, Community Development or related field.
• Two years of experience handling confidential documents and information.
• Experience in Property Management/Real Estate or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support real estate development and acquisitions.
• Administer Tribal titles and regulations governing Real Estate Excise Tax and Land Occupation Use Tax processes.
• Provide public services by applying tribal preferences in hiring and related processes.

JOB SUMMARY

The Real Estate Specialist position provides overall support for real estate development, acquisitions, property tax implementation and management related to both on and off Reservation property transfers. This position will provide public services by Administering Tribal titles and regulations governing Real Estate Excise Tax and Land Occupation Use Tax processes.

COMPENSATION

$27.62 hr.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Community Development or related field.*Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis

MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Two (2) years ofworking experience with confidential documents and information
• Two (2) years ofcomputer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs
• One (1) year of experience utilizing communication and public relations skills
• Experience in Property Management/Real Estate or related field. Preferred

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES

• WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Automobile Insurance)
• Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation. (Abstract Required)
