Job summary

MBH Settlement Group, a franchise partner in the real estate settlement field, seeks an attorney to manage residential settlements across assigned offices and drive client acquisition and retention. You will handle real estate settlements and provide support to staff while promoting MBH services.

Your role focuses on business development—attracting new agents, nurturing relationships, and representing MBH at marketing events. Travel within the MBH footprint is required to expand our client base.

Qualifications

• JD degree or equivalent and VA bar admission.
• Knowledge of the real estate/title industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Drive to excel in business development and client growth.
• Willingness to travel within MBH footprint.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential settlements for assigned office(s).
• Oversee client acquisition and retention; conduct settlements.
• Advise and provide support to assigned or centralized employees.
• Attend marketing functions to expand MBH's business (sales meetings, classes, conventions, events).
• Collaborate with corporate on operational and underwriting functions.
• Monitor communications and processes through the lifecycle of files to ensure top service.
