Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Everett, WA is seeking a Real Estate Services Technician 2 to support right-of-way projects, review titles, and prepare detailed acquisition packages. You will coordinate documents and contribute to client reporting under the direction of a Project Manager.

The role requires accuracy, data tracking, and strong MS Office skills, with GIS familiarity and real estate document understanding. This is a full-time on-site position in Real Estate Services.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in right-of-way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending.
  • Ability to understand real estate documents (title, appraisal, environmental, survey).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mid-level technical services for right-of-way projects as required by the assignment, including project coordination.
  • Order and review title, perform title curative duties, provide property research, and prepare acquisition and document packages that are certification-ready.
  • Coordinate closing/settlement/condemnation packages and document recordings.
  • Input data, maintain tracking and parcel status database, and prepare client reports.
  • Collaborate daily with agents and at the direction of a Project Manager.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • AA degree or equivalent experience
  • Database and GIS familiarity
  • Specific experience with power and/or utility right‑of‑way processes, document generation, and support
  • Experience identifying and correcting typographical, numerical, or structural errors to produce accurate and complete work products
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with right‑of‑way, title, paralegal, real property law or mortgage lending
  • Specific industry regulatory knowledge a plus
  • Ability to understand real estate documents such as title, appraisal, environmental and survey
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Industry experience is beneficial and highly organized work approach
