Our team provides a full range of services including general brokerage, property management, asset management, and development services. We operate exclusively in Texas’ major markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

Weitzman is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Broker with expertise in the Dallas-Fort Worth retail market. This real estate veteran will perform all retail leasing activities while identifying and developing a strong network of tenant, broker, and owner relationships.

Responsibilities

1. Source new tenants and establish relationships within the industry
2. Negotiate, analyze and close lease transactions within a portfolio
3. Perform market surveys and cold calls
4. Develop and distribute marketing packages and materials to potential tenants
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of demographics, traffic patterns and market trends
6. Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on competitor data and rental rates
7. Provide leadership to junior team members
8. Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Real Estate preferred)
2. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in retail leasing with a strong deal sheet
3. Experience canvassing and cold calling
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Existing industry relationships
6. Strong relationship building, negotiation, mathematics, time management and organizational skills
7. Exhibit assertiveness, persistence, ambition, good judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detail
8. Ability to focus on many tasks and requests with competing deadlines
9. Proven success in working independently in a high-pressure environment
10. Dependable and punctual
