Job summary

HDR in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Real Estate Services Agent I to support property rights acquisitions, due diligence, and title ordering for public and private clients.

You will review appraisals, prepare offer packages, and maintain detailed records while coordinating with the Real Estate Services Team. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, with flexible hours and a collaborative approach encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of real estate experience or 120 hours of training.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local real estate laws (Uniform Act, NEPA, FERC).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-negotiation project support, parcel due diligence, and non-complex negotiations for property rights.
• Review appraisals and just compensation; verify parcels on right‑of‑way plans and prepare offer packages.
• Provide technical services including administrative duties, property research, and ordering title.
• Input and track data in spreadsheets/databases; prepare client reports.
• Support the Real Estate Services Team with document preparation and administrative tasks.
• Oversee schedule and budget in support of the Project Manager.
• Coordinate closing/settlement/condemnation packages and document recordings.
• Prepare acquisition and relocation documents; assist with title orders and reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
