Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an associate attorney to join its Assessment Recovery group in Milwaukee, WI. The role handles matters related to assessment recovery, money judgments, bankruptcy, judgment execution, foreclosure and other real property issues, with substantial client contact and public speaking.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.
• 0-5 years of litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or civil litigation for governmental bodies.
• Excellent personal and professional dedication.
• Availability during business hours, with some evenings and weekends for client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high project load and oversee administrative staff.
• Independently handle a diverse caseload including personally originated cases.
• Chair client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Advise clients on case status and manage electronic task lists and billing.
• Draft complaints and answers, conduct discovery, prepare witnesses, and manage trial preparation.
