Job summary

BCG Attorney Search's Cincinnati, Ohio office seeks an associate attorney to join its Assessment Recovery group. You will handle matters related to assessment recovery, money judgments, bankruptcy, judgment execution, foreclosure, and other real property issues, with significant client contact and public speaking.

Candidates must be admitted in Ohio with 0-5 years of litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in civil matters.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Ohio and eligible to represent clients in Ohio courts.
• 0–5 years of litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or civil matters for government entities.
• Availability during business hours, evenings, and weekends for client meetings.
• Excellent personal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high project load and oversee administrative staff.
• Independently handle a diverse caseload, including personally originated cases.
• Chair client corporate meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Advise clients on case status and manage electronic task lists and billing.
• Draft complaints and answers, conduct discovery, prepare witnesses, and manage trial preparation and conduct.
