The US Army Corps of Engineers seeks a real estate professional to support multiple project teams in Detroit area. You will plan, organize, and execute real estate requirements to meet customer and stakeholder priorities, preparing necessary documents and coordinating with the agency.

You will research and draft planning documents, negotiate real estate acquisitions (easements, rights of entry), and identify innovative solutions to complex challenges while ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience applying real estate principles, regulations, practices and techniques.
  • Education alternatives include Master’s degree or 2 years of graduate study in Real Estate or related field.
  • Combination of education and experience may be used to meet requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to multiple project teams to plan, organize, and carry out real estate requirements.
  • Prepare real estate documents in accordance with regulations and coordinate through the agency.
  • Research, write, and recommend planning documents for approval of real estate sections.
  • Negotiate and prepare real estate acquisition documents including easements and rights of way.
  • Research real estate requirements and develop innovative solutions to meet deadlines.
