Job summary

Opendoor is seeking a Portfolio Manager to optimize a multi-billion dollar inventory through strategic resale pricing and asset-level P&L decisions. You’ll interpret demand signals and market trends to outperform the market, deciding listing prices and timing to maximize value while managing risk.

In this role you’ll leverage data analysis, Excel dashboards, and pricing AI tools to guide decisions, collaborating with pricing engineers and operations teams to refine models and workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in making difficult pricing decisions.
• Ability to review large amounts of data to guide decisions.
• Experience with Excel, dashboards and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Generate alpha by pricing decisions across inventory from listing to resale.
• Own P&L of your book of inventory and decide listing price, discounts, or holds.
• Interpret signals from demand metrics and market events to refine strategy at portfolio/asset level.
• Balance model-driven recommendations with market nuances and risk considerations.
• Collaborate with pricing models and tooling teams to improve workflows.
