Job summary

LaSalle Investment Management seeks a Portfolio Accountant to support Canadian real estate portfolios in IFRS reporting. You will work with the Portfolio Controller to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, external investor reporting, and NAV analysis, with an emphasis on accuracy and process automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 1–3 years of professional accounting experience.
• CPA designation strongly preferred; commitment to CPA certification for career progression.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to prepare complex financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting for Canadian portfolios using IFRS.
• Prepare and post journal entries and review NAV packs.
• Coordinate with cash management for investor subscriptions, distributions, and invoicing.
• Identify AI-driven process improvements in the accounting cycle.
• Support year-end audit and tax compliance.
• Collaborate with off-site managers and clients to deliver client service.
