Job summary

TRD Advisors LLC in New York City is seeking a Real Estate Private Equity Fund Accountant to join the finance team and support accounting and reporting across the firm’s investment vehicles. The role focuses on fund accounting, investor allocations, financial reporting, and operational support for private real estate funds.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to real estate, private credit, or private equity, and a mix of public accounting and private fund

Qualifications

• 2–5 years accounting experience; real estate fund accounting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Yardi is a plus.
• Experience in private investment funds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review wire transfers, journal entries, and follow up on transaction status.
• Prepare/review allocations, support, and JEs across funds for expense payments and investments/distributions.
• Prepare fund investor capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations and related wires/notices.
• Coordinate payment and tracking of intercompany transactions.
• Reconcile Fund, middle tier, JV and SPE investment and equity accounts.
• Maintain historical and forecasted cash tracking schedules.
• Assist in quarterly valuation process.
• Involvement in fund/deal setup and structuring.
