Job summary

Welltower Inc. in the United States seeks a highly organized fund accounting professional to join our private fund platform. You will maintain property- and investor-level metrics, prepare financial statements, and support annual audits.

Ideal candidates have strong accounting foundations, CPA or equivalent, and experience in real estate private equity. You will collaborate across teams to deliver accurate reporting and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in real estate private equity, fund accounting, real estate investment management, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent strongly desired; Master’s/CFA/CAIA a plus.
• Knowledge of GAAP, NACREIF, IFRS, INREV is strongly desired.
• Hands-on expertise with fair value reporting, NAV calculations, and investor allocations.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools (Yardi, OneStream, Workiva, PowerBI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property-level, fund-level, and investor performance calculations (IRR, equity multiple, carry).
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, investor reports, and NAV statements.
• Consolidation, GL maintenance, and fee/expense allocations under US GAAP and fair value basis.
• Support data flow for third-party valuation reports and fund-level reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting, investments, FP&A, treasury, tax, and capital markets teams.
• Assist with investment and fund reporting models.
