Qualifications

• 3+ years of real estate paralegal experience in a law firm or similar setting.
• Experience supporting commercial and residential real estate transactions through closing.
• Experience reviewing title commitments, title policies, surveys, and due diligence.
• Experience forming business entities and filing with the Texas Secretary of State.
• Ability to conduct corporate due diligence and prepare organizational documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents for real estate transactions.
• Draft purchase agreements, deeds, loan documents, and related forms.
• Review title commitments, surveys, and due diligence materials.
• Identify title issues and assist in preparing curative documents.
• Coordinate closings with clients, lenders, title companies, and other participants.
• Prepare closing checklists, binding packages, and post-closing docs.
• Coordinate IRC 1031 like-kind exchanges with Qualified Intermediaries.
• Form business entities and file Texas SOS filings.
