Phillip S Tarallo, PC Law Firm is seeking a highly organized and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. This individual will provide crucial support to a well-established attorney, specializing in real estate transactions and related matters.
Responsibilities:
Assist the attorney with commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, estate planning, and financing.
Prepare closing documents, title and survey reviews, and closing statements.
Conduct due diligence and coordinate with clients, brokers, and lenders.
Review and summarize real estate contracts, and other related documents.
Prepare legal correspondence and maintain client files.
Communicate with clients, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions.
Prepare and file real estate documents with appropriate government agencies.
Monitor transaction progress, timelines, and critical dates.
Manage post-closing matters and maintain up-to-date records.
Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate or associate's degree in Paralegal Studies.
Minimum experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software and/or estate planning software such as Wealth Counsel is a plus.
Knowledge of Illinois real estate law and procedures is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
