Job summary

Whitman Advisory Job Community partners with a nationally recognized law firm to recruit an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of real estate transactions.

The successful candidate will manage deals from due diligence through closing and post-closing, coordinating with clients, title companies, lenders, and other professionals. Five plus years of CRE paralegal experience and strong organizational skills are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
  • Experience with title and survey review, entity formation, due diligence, and closing coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Kofax.
  • Notary designation preferred; ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial real estate transactions from opening through closing.
  • Prepare and maintain deal files, checklists, and closing documents.
  • Draft and revise transaction documents, correspondence, and organizational documents.
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and related documentation.
  • Prepare signature packages, closing binders, and post-closing deliverables.
  • Coordinate with clients, attorneys, title companies, lenders, and other third parties.
  • Prepare closing statements and assist with escrow-style closings.
  • Maintain accurate daily time entries and transaction records.
  • Travel locally to attend client meetings and closings.

We're partnering with a nationally recognized law firm that is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of commercial and industrial real estate transactions.

The successful candidate will manage transactions from due diligence through closing and post-closing while working closely with attorneys, clients, title companies, and other professionals.

  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Notary Public designation, or willingness to obtain one, preferred.
  • Experience obtaining EINs and filing related IRS forms is a plus.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.

Compensation & Benefits: Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. Support staff may also be eligible for discretionary year-end bonuses and a merit-based increase.
