Job summary

Saltu Staffing represents a leading Am Law 100 law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its Houston office. The role supports a sophisticated transactional real estate practice, coordinating closings and working closely with attorneys, clients, and third-party professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, with hands-on title and survey review, UCC searches, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• 4+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
• Hands-on experience with title and survey review and analysis.
• Experience with commercial real estate due diligence and transaction closings.
• Experience with UCC searches, filings, and related diligence.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and shifting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and outside parties.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and other transactional matters.
• Review and analyze title commitments, title documents, surveys, zoning reports, and other due diligence materials.
• Prepare and maintain critical date trackers, property charts, and transaction status reports.
• Draft and prepare real estate and closing documents, such as deeds, assignments, affidavits, easements, releases, and related materials.
• Prepare and review UCC financing statements and coordinate UCC, lien, judgment, and entity searches.
• Coordinate transaction closings, including signatures, escrow deliveries, closing documents, and post-closing materials.
• Communicate with title companies, surveyors, zoning consultants, opposing counsel, clients, and other third parties.
• Review and summarize leases, estoppels, SNDAs, and other real estate documents as needed.
• Manage multiple active transactions and competing deadlines simultaneously.
