Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a real estate paralegal for a full-time on-site role in Plymouth County, MA. You will manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing, preparing and organizing documents, and coordinating with lenders, title companies, clients, and attorneys.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of real estate paralegal experience, strong drafting and due diligence skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of real estate paralegal experience.
  • Experience supporting residential real estate transactions; commercial real estate experience a plus.
  • Strong legal document drafting and document review skills.
  • Knowledge of title insurance, closings, and due diligence.
  • Experience coordinating with lenders, title companies, brokers, and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Paralegal certificate, related degree, or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing.
  • Prepare, review, and organize real estate transactional documents.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and other parties throughout the closing process.
  • Conduct title review, due diligence, lien searches, and document verification.
  • Prepare loan packages, closing documents, title insurance documentation, and recording packages.
  • Track transaction deadlines and maintain organized electronic and physical files.
  • Ensure compliance with firm procedures and applicable real estate regulations.
  • Utilize legal practice management software and Microsoft Office to maintain accurate records.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while working in a collaborative legal team environment.

$75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Location
