Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Real Estate Market Research Manager to join our Real Estate Operations and Analytics team. You will perform market research and location analysis to develop accurate sales projections and advise on store site selection across various formats.

You will support decision making for store leases, openings, remodels, and closures while collaborating with Real Estate, Store and Senior Leadership teams. Expect 25%-50% travel to market sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and GIS.
• Knowledge of retail site selection and market planning.
• Experience with forecasting and market insights.

Responsibilities

• Provide decision support for real estate strategy using data-driven analytics and insights for leadership.
• Prepare sales forecasting for Core Retail transactions including new stores, relocations, remodels, mergers, and store closures.
• Identify market gaps and provide recommendations to support growth and store expansion.
• Interpret results and develop insights for leadership through data visualization and storytelling.
• Maintain competitive tracking and performance trends across markets and formats.
• Maintain and enhance market definitions and enable standardized analytics.
• Support development of market research tools, GIS and automation within the analytics stack.
• Introduce new analytical approaches to business requests and improve the analytics framework.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and conduct in-market visits (25%-50% of time).
