Job summary

CRE Finance Council in New York is seeking an experienced Real Estate Manager to lead leasing, business development, marketing, and asset management for a diverse portfolio of shopping centers, retail, and office properties.

You will work directly with ownership, shape leasing strategies, manage tenant relationships, and drive portfolio growth through market analysis, marketing campaigns, and the adoption of AI and automation to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in commercial real estate, retail leasing, asset management, or business development.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiations, relationship management, and executing transactions.
• Strong understanding of business fundamentals, financial analysis, and deal economics.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and take ownership of projects.
• Proficiency with modern technology and an interest in leveraging AI and automation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue prospective tenants and new leasing opportunities.
• Negotiate Letters of Intent (LOIs), lease renewals, extensions, and new transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with national and regional tenants, brokers, and industry professionals.
• Develop leasing strategies to improve occupancy, tenant mix, and property performance.
• Travel to ICSC Shows and other CRE conferences for business development.
