Job summary

RailPros is seeking a Real Estate Manager I to serve as the primary liaison between third parties, railroad representatives, and RailPros Real Estate clients. You will manage permit and lease processes, draft agreements, and coordinate revisions while ensuring data accuracy across systems.

You will also support process improvements, maintain client communications, and travel as needed to project locations, headquarters, or client sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Real Estate, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing and overseeing the entire scope of assigned projects.
  • Proficiency with electronic communications and standard office applications (MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact between third parties and railroad representatives.
  • Draft license/lease agreements and distribute on behalf of railroad clients.
  • Review or prepares railroad permit applications and track status.

Apply now and become a part of our exciting journey!Job Summary:The Real Estate Manager I serves as the point of contact and relationship manager between utility and railroad representatives and RailPros Real Estate clients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Serves as the point of contact between third parties and railroad representativesServes as a client relationship manager for railroad and utility/permittee/lessee representativesReviews or prepares railroad permit applications to ensure that all necessary documents have been received from third parties or clientsArticulates in a clear and actionable manner to the third parties or clients any comments for required design or work revisions to secure a railroad permit or leaseActs as liaison on behalf of railroad clients and their engineering contractors for utility relocation design and construction associated with railroad track construction projectsDetermines railroad property valuation and license/lease valueSubmits permit applications to railroads on behalf of third-party clients seeking to access railroad right of wayHandles application review and approval processes of permits on behalf of railroad clientsInputs and tracks application status into RailPros and client’s real estate management systemsProvides updates to RailPros team members and clients on application statusCoordinates and updates application revisions as neededActively participate in process and procedure improvement discussionsAssures client’s records have complete and accurate information and that data is currentDrafts license/lease agreements and distributes on behalf of railroad clientsThis position may require travel to RailPros headquarters, field offices or client offices, work sites and other project related locationsContribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture, free from behaviors that undermine morale, productivity, or organizational valuesUphold the organization’s standards of integrity, accountability, and respect in all duties and interactionsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulationOther duties as assigned or required to meet the business needsKnowledge Skills and Abilities:Able to apply logical thought processes and organize resources in order to solve issues and meet commitmentsProven experience in making decisions and seizing opportunities in the context of business objectivesAble to satisfy internal and external customer expectations and developing customer partnershipsProven experience managing and overseeing the entire scope of assigned projectsProficiency with electronic communications including email and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe)Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Real Estate, similar fields of study or equivalent work experienceAdditional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:Working knowledge of all railroads permitting processes and standardsWhy RailPros?
