State Employees Credit Union is hiring a Real Estate Loan Processor/Closer I in New Mexico. The role supports the real estate lending function, processes mortgage applications, and coordinates closings while ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the loan lifecycle.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Expect to handle multiple transactions, maintain files, review documents for potential errors, and work with underwriters and title companies to close loans

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong math skills including basic operations and percentages.
• Proficient with office equipment, computers and Microsoft Office.
• Patient, tactful, with a positive attitude toward members and peers.
• Travel may be required.

Mansioni

• Prioritize tasks to handle multiple transactions concurrently.
• Compile and maintain organized files and reports.
• Review loan applications for missing information and errors.
• Prepare loan packets for members and coordinate with underwriter.
• Review appraisals, income verifications, and titles for accuracy.
• Enter data into mortgage LOS and monitor underwriting progress.
• Prepare and review closing disclosures and fund loans.
• Ensure deadlines for submissions and closings are met.
• Input HMDA data prior to funding.
• Purge obsolete loan documents and respond to borrower inquiries.
