Job summary

CoreVest is seeking a Loan Closing/Funding Analyst in Irvine, CA to coordinate long-term loan processing and funding, interfacing with vendors, borrower teams and other third parties on diligence, processing and closing activities.

The role requires experience in commercial lending (SFR/multifamily) and a strong focus on accuracy, policy development, and cross-team collaboration. A competitive benefits package is provided along with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a major related to Finance, Economics or Real Estate preferred
• Minimum of three years of processing and/or closing/funding
• Experience in commercial lending—SFR, multifamily, bridge, ground up or new construction lending is a plus
• Escrow and title experience a plus
• Customer focused mindset with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficient Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Experience in Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loan processing and closing for commercial debt financing transactions
• Prepare schedules of lender costs and review Closing Disclosure with escrow
• Coordinate kick-off, title review, insurance and document preparation
• Develop policies and procedures for processing and closing term loans
• Interfere with borrowers to collect required data and resolve diligence issues
• Ensure closing packages are complete and loans are boarded with servicer
• Apply project coordination and closing standards and best practices
• Review deal metrics with underwriting and summarize investment committee memos
• Assist with warehouse financing draws and post-closing issues
• Develop technology-enabled process solutions and manage vendor relationships
