Job summary

Global Credit Union in Anchorage, AK seeks a Real Estate Loan Center Specialist II to answer real estate and mortgage lending inquiries, complete credit applications, and process appraisal orders.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of lending policies, scheduling appointments for originators, inputting applications in the mortgage loan origination system, and assisting with loan processing and appraisal status tracking, while supporting cross-sales of credit union services.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 6 months service experience with member contact preferred.
• Excellent telephone and English communication skills.
• Basic typing and 10-key touch calculator skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Answer all in-coming calls pertaining to real estate and mortgage lending issues.
• Maintain knowledge of real estate and mortgage lending policies and guidelines.
• Obtain information to complete credit applications and related documentation.
• Direct members to appropriate individuals and schedule appointments for originators.
• Set up real estate applications files and input into the mortgage loan origination system.
• Assist with loan processing and posting tasks as directed by management.
• Order appraisal reports using AOS to ensure compliance with appraiser independence.
• Act as communication center between appraisers and origination staff.
• Track appraisal status and provide data to originations; follow up on delivery dates.
• Confirm and verify Loan in Process accounts for appraisal billing (Symitar).
• Cross-sell credit union services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
