Location: Los Angeles, California. In-office four days per week. This is a firm requirement for new hires and is not flexible.

Compensation: $300,000 to $400,000 base as a non-equity partner, with a defined path to equity.

Twenty80 represents an established Los Angeles law firm with a deep, sophisticated real estate litigation practice. The firm handles complex commercial disputes on par with the work of leading regional and national firms. We are running this search on the firm's behalf and can share the client's identity with qualified candidates under confidentiality.

The Role

You join as a partner with real ownership of matters and clients. This is not a seat for someone who bills hours and goes home. The firm wants a builder, a litigator who develops business, brings or grows a client base, and helps expand the practice. You will handle high-value commercial real estate disputes spanning acquisitions, financing, and title issues.

What the Firm Is Looking For

Experience

• 8 to 25 years of real estate litigation experience at a law firm, at a level consistent with partner responsibility.
• Broad exposure across real estate disputes, including acquisitions, financing, and title matters. The firm wants range, not a single niche such as landlord-tenant or residential closings.
• A track record with high-value commercial matters: office buildings, mixed-use developments, and major transactions. Residential home-purchase disputes alone will not meet the bar.
• Current tenure at a mid-size or large firm with a sophisticated real estate litigation practice.
• Portable client relationships, or a clear record of developing business.

Education

• JD from a well-regarded law school. The firm values substance over pedigree, so a strong record matters more than the name on the diploma.

Licensure

• Active California bar membership in good standing.
