Kimco Realty Corporation is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant (Joint Venture) to prepare, review, and analyze financial reports for real estate funds, joint ventures, and partnerships. S/he will maintain accuracy under tight deadlines and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with MRI accounting software.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Public accounting experience and/or real estate accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review financial statements for real estate funds, joint ventures, and partnerships.
• Read, interpret, and summarize partnership and fund investment agreements.
• Assist with annual audits in accordance with GAAP.
• Monitor and manage portfolio accounts and related financial activity.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly close entries and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analyses comparing actuals to budget or forecast.
• Prepare LP capital calls, distributions, and investor reports.
• Communicate with partners, investors, asset managers, and others.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
