Job summary

Lincoln Property Company seeks an experienced accounting and finance professional to oversee JV financial operations for a large-scale real estate investment platform. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cash management, capital accounts, and investor reporting with a focus on GAAP and JV structures.

The ideal candidate has deep real estate accounting expertise and strong GAAP knowledge. CPA is highly preferred. This is a hybrid role with interview-time flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in real estate or private equity JV structures.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and JV accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, Kardin, or similar real estate systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare JV and property-level budgets and forecasts, and consolidate into JV budgets.
• Manage capital calls, debt compliance, and lender reporting.
• Oversee JV, HoldCo, and SPE bank accounts, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.
• Coordinate investor reporting packages including IRR, MOIC, and equity multiples.
• Assist in acquisition/disposition accounting and balance sheet openings for new assets.
• Monitor GAAP compliance and third-party manager accounting for investor reporting.
