Job summary

RETS Associates in San Francisco is seeking an Investment Associate to join a lean deal team responsible for analyzing and leading deal executions across Office/Industrial/R&D/Mixed-Use real estate. The Associate reports to the Director and supports underwriting and due diligence.

The role requires a bachelor degree in business/finance/real estate/economics and 3–6 years of deal exposure, with strong quantitative and analytical skills and a keenness for detail. Office-based role in SF.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
3–6 years in real estate investment, development, lending, brokerage or investment banking with deal exposure.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Provide acquisitions underwriting and financial analysis including cash flow analysis, market and property due diligence, financing, and JV structuring.
Coordinate closings including due diligence, IC memos, and interface with legal / external consultants.
Market research, property research, lease / rent roll analysis, and other research for various deals.
Communicate with external parties including brokerage community, business partners, lenders, and consultants.
