Job summary

Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group (UIG) in Dallas seeks an Associate to join our Real Estate team within Asset Management. The role supports senior leaders in managing a portfolio of Real Estate Equity, Debt, LIHTC, and LC investments, including reporting and value optimization across mixed-income, affordable housing, retail, office and industrial properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting or math preferred.
• Advanced real estate modelling skills with Excel; experience with Argus a plus.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present strategies clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support senior asset management team to manage a portfolio of Real Estate Equity, Debt, Letters of Credit and LIHTC investments.
• Assist in operating, maximizing value and reporting on assets.
• Prepare cash flow projections, budgets, and financial analyses; develop monthly reporting.
• Support debt strategies to maximize value through loan asset management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third parties (partners, brokers, property managers).
• Lead asset disposition efforts including due diligence, memos, and closing.
