StepStone Group is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to be based in San Francisco, New York or Chicago, handling management, monitoring and reporting on real estate investments. You will deliver insights and updates to senior investment team members and collaborate across partners.

The role focuses on financial modeling, scenario analysis, budget control, and compliance with investment guidelines while communicating findings to internal committees and clients.

Qualifications

• 1-3 year(s) of real estate investment, reporting, or asset/portfolio management experience.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; understanding of real estate structures, concepts and metrics.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; PowerBI and/or Argus experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scenario Analysis: Develop financial models and valuations for existing investments and potential acquisitions.
• Budgeting and cash flow: maintain business plans, budgets and capital projects with cash flow models.
• Investment monitoring: track performance with operating partners, ensure compliance with guidelines and complete site/work reports.
• Debt compliance: monitor debt metrics and forecast future performance.
• Reporting: prepare internal and client reports and quarterly valuations.
