Job summary

StepStone Group in Chicago is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Real Estate Investment Team. You will source, evaluate, underwrite and execute real estate investments across geographies and asset classes.

You will build financial models, draft investment memoranda, present to the Real Estate Investment Committee, and support fundraising while coordinating with brokers, developers, and partners.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in real estate private equity, credit, investment banking, or related real estate finance.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or real estate.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint; ARGUS experience preferred but optional.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, underwriting, and execute real estate investments across geographies and asset classes.
• Build financial models and draft investment memoranda for committee review.
