Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related quantitative field.
• Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, corporate finance, or related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling using Excel, including advanced functions and scenario analysis.
• Solid understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and investment principles.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with the Eastern Cape real estate market is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
• Proficiency in database management and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for real estate investments (DCF, IRR, NPV).
• Conduct market research to identify investment trends, opportunities, and risks within the Eastern Cape.
• Evaluate commercial, residential, and industrial properties for acquisition, disposition, and development.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and investment committees.
• Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing leases, contracts, environmental reports, and title documents.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets and recommend strategic adjustments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, appraisers, lenders, and other industry participants.
• Stay current with economic conditions, real estate market dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting investments in the region.
• Contribute to the formulation of overall investment strategy and asset allocation.
• Assist in portfolio management and reporting activities.
