Distinct | North America is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate with 2–7 years of experience to join its Atlanta office. You will work on sophisticated real estate finance and CMBS transactions, drafting loan documents, negotiating terms, and guiding deals from inception to closing.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in commercial real estate finance matters, including CMBS transactions.
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, or institutional investors in sophisticated deals.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative transactional environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, borrowers, servicers, and institutional clients in complex real estate finance and CMBS transactions
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, intercreditor agreements, securitization-related documents, and other transaction materials
• Manage transactions from inception through closing, coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other deal parties
• Advise clients on structuring, strategic, and commercial considerations across a wide range of finance matters
• Handle acquisitions, refinancing, mezzanine financing, and CMBS deals involving diverse asset classes
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal service
