Insite Legal is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join a busy national practice with a prominent Am Law 100 firm reputation. The role is based in Kansas City or New York, with a strong pipeline of lenders, debt funds, life insurers, and borrowers.

You will originate, structure and close commercial mortgage, mezzanine and construction loans, draft loan documents, and coordinate closings while building client relationships early in your career.

Qualificações

• JD and 2+ years of commercial real estate finance experience at a law firm.
• Admission to the Bar in the state of the office where you'll be based.
• Solid grounding in loan documentation and the real estate diligence process.
• Strong organisation and the ability to handle several transactions at once.
• Clear communication with clients and opposing counsel.

Responsabilidades

• Represent lenders and borrowers in originating commercial mortgage, mezzanine and construction loans
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, promissory notes, guaranties and security documents
• Review title, survey, zoning and diligence materials
• Coordinate closings, including with local counsel and other parties
• Work on refinancings, loan modifications, workouts and loan sales
• Build direct client relationships early in your career
