Hawkstone Search is assisting a national AM100 law firm in locating a talented Real Estate Finance associate in New York. The role focuses on representing lenders in sophisticated CRE financings and closing mortgage and mezzanine transactions.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of CRE experience, a strong academic record, and NY Bar admission. This is a partnership-track opportunity within a nationally networked real estate practice.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience.
• Meaningful experience representing lenders in CRE financings.
• Experience negotiating, documenting and closing mortgage, mezzanine and other secured lending transactions.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions.
• Negotiate, document and close mortgage, mezzanine and other secured lending deals.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related financing instruments.
• Coordinate with clients, borrowers’ counsel and other transaction participants.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s offices on complex, multi-faceted matters.
