Polsinelli seeks a Practice Group Assistant for the Real Estate Finance group in the Denver office. Great for recent grads or those interested in real estate and the paralegal field.

Role involves assisting with loan closings, document organization, and post-closing tasks while coordinating with attorneys, analysts, paralegals, and title companies. A strong attention to detail and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in real estate lending and finance
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal education preferred
• Prior law firm experience preferred
• Must be able to work individually, as well as in a team setting
• Must be dependable, dedicated and able to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-closing, closing, and post-closing of loans
• Create closing binder indexes and closing binders
• Compile and organize documents: loan documents, signature pages, etc.
• Review documents to create summary of open items, bracketed items, and exhibits
• Track and prepare client-specific deliverables
• Create and update closing checklist
• Track post-closing items such as recorded and original documents
• Assist with securitization practice
• Research for recorded documents as needed
• File UCC-1 and UCC-3 Secretary of State
• E-record mortgage documents as needed
• Prepare and distribute quarterly reports
• Work with attorneys, analysts, paralegals, and title companies
