The Project Manager, Real Estate Development at Cardinal Health supports planning, coordination, and execution of real estate and construction projects across corporate offices, distribution centers, and healthcare environments. This role provides hands-on exposure and growth opportunities, with emphasis on delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–5 years in construction project coordination, facilities, or real estate development.
• Understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or design tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with data analysis, automation, or emerging AI tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot).
• Basic coding or scripting experience (Python, VBA, SQL) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Managers in the development and execution of real estate and construction projects.
• Manage small projects and minor facility improvements from initiation through closeout under supervision.
• Coordinate project documentation including schedules, budgets, meeting notes, and status reports.
• Support the preparation of preliminary budgets, cost estimates, and capital approval materials.
• Track project progress, timelines, and expenditures; flag risks or variances to senior team members.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners (architects, contractors, consultants).
• Assist with bid processes, vendor coordination, and contract documentation.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and records.
• Participate in project meetings and help document action items and follow-ups.
• Support site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Build working relationships with internal clients and external vendors.
• Leverage digital tools, automation, and emerging AI capabilities to improve project tracking, reporting, and team efficiency.
• Assist in developing or enhancing internal tools, dashboards, or workflows (e.g., Excel models, Power BI, simple scripts, or low-code solutions).
