Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Development Associate in our Downers Grove, IL office to support the internal project team with due diligence, market research, budgeting, and investment offering preparation. You will coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors, manage development schedules and budgets, review bids, and ensure timely permit submittals and field reporting.

A Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience are required; a PE license is an asset but not

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, or real estate.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal project team with due diligence, market research, budgeting, and investment offering prep.
• Assist in creating and tracking development schedules, entitlements, design, permitting and land closing.
• Coordinate with consultants (civil, environmental, geotechnical) and review bids.
• Manage bid processes, contracts, and purchase orders; track progress and field conditions.
• Track project budgets and monthly draw requests; report to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with leasing to support RFPs and tenant inquiries.
