Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or related field preferred; alternatives allowed with experience.
• 3–5 years of work experience in related fields such as paralegal, project management or real estate transactions.
• Strong organizational and research abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, and document management systems.
• Ability to take meeting minutes and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties and maintain the department's administrative infrastructure, including databases, document storage, and research databases.
• Perform market research utilizing on-line tools and develop research presentations for internal and external uses.
• Prepare and maintain pipeline and project status reports for workflow management and reporting to internal boards using Excel, Word and Smartsheet.
• Take minutes of meetings and facilitate communication and workflow among the Real Estate Development team, other departments, and external parties using Procore.
• Maintain information related to other affordable housing developers in Nevada and affordable housing projects.
• Identify land acquisition opportunities, prepare letters of intent, assist with appraisals and market studies, and perform due diligence including title and ALTA surveys.
• Review and research current affordable housing trends, issues, and financing sources in Southern Nevada and nationally.
• Assist with financial feasibility analysis and update development proforma models as directed.
• Support activities in the development process, including funding apps, RFP responses, presentations, and loan closings.
• Assist in preparing departmental financial projections and reports.
• Prepare and submit reports to NeighborWorks and other affordable housing organizations and governmental jurisdictions.
• Perform supportive tasks that may be altered to fit circumstances.
• Perform other duties as needed for the operation.
• Coordinate tasks with department and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and information flow.
• Support the Real Estate Development team with general administrative tasks and development processes.
