Job summary

Faropoint, a leading pure-play RE fund manager, seeks a Senior Associate to join the Fund Finance team. You will handle day-to-day accounting and loan servicing across debt investments, including interest billing, borrower payments, and lender reporting.

The role requires strong technical accounting, accuracy, and CRE lending experience. The position offers a base salary in the $70,000-$90,000 range plus discretionary bonus, comprehensive healthcare, unlimited PTO, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of progressive experience in accounting or loan servicing, preferably CRE/PE/lending.
• Proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across entities.
• Experience with Yardi, Debt Manager, or similar real estate/fund accounting platforms.
• Familiarity with credit facility compliance reporting and borrowing base certificates.

Responsibilities

• Loan Servicing & Billing: prepare monthly interest statements, track payments, monitor delinquencies, maintain system of record, process draws/payoffs, monitor covenants.
• Fund & Entity Accounting: monthly close, journal entries for interest accruals, intercompany reconciliation, trial balances, consolidation support.
• Reporting & Compliance: prepare quarterly covenant packages, assist with audits/taxes, maintain audit trails.
