Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) seeks a full-time Data Scientist to join the Data Analytics team. You will help ensure large real estate datasets are accurate, well matched, and ready for analytics and downstream models.

You will work across the data lifecycle, develop predictive models, and contribute to enterprise AI initiatives while collaborating with data engineers, product teams, and clients. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree preferred (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python skills with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark for production jobs.
• Solid grounding in data quality, validation, reconciliation, and entity resolution.
• Experience delivering recurring data products to clients.
• Familiarity with ML and generative AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Parquet, data engineering, Git and CI/CD; BI tools like Tableau/Power BI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable in an agile R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Own, validate, and maintain recurring production data feeds and aggregated datasets.
• Build, modernize, and automate SQL and Databricks workloads and production jobs.
• Plan and run data migration and platform rollout testing for index and geography changes.
• Develop, validate, and interpret statistical and predictive models; create visualizations.
• Contribute to enterprise AI/ML initiatives from prototyping to productionizing models.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product, and client-facing teams to productionize data.
• Communicate methods and findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document workflows and data definitions; participate in code reviews; mentor juniors.
