Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation in Denver seeks a Portfolio Manager II – Real Estate Group to oversee credit risk for the CRE portfolio (> $5M). You will analyze borrower and guarantor financials, conduct annual reviews, and test covenants, with responsibility for extensions and workouts.

You will partner with Relationship Managers to manage loan portfolios, prepare packages for credit and loan committees, monitor covenant compliance, and support clients with underwriting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, accounting, finance, real estate, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years CRE experience including credit analysis/underwriting.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze borrower/guarantor financial statements and real estate schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit underwriting duties for existing CRE loans and annual reviews.
• Prepare and present credit packages for credit and loan committee review.
• Monitor covenant compliance and document exceptions in a timely manner.
• Analyze borrower/guarantor performance and collateral across asset classes.
• Provide strong client service and collaborate with Relationship Managers.
