Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. is seeking a Real Estate Coordinator in Akron, OH for a 12-month contract. The role is onsite with two open slots; responsibilities include reviewing land and right of way documents, supporting GIS and project teams, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Applicants should have a high school diploma with 5 years’ experience or higher degrees with fewer years, strong attention to detail, and good communication. Local candidates only; background check required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma minimum with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree minimum with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree minimum with 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, prepare, review and interpret Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits and licenses
  • Complete rights and restriction reviews
  • Complete permitting requirements as needed
  • Research and review of real property related documents
  • Understand and interpret easement agreements
  • Support translation of data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database
  • Complete quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries from Right of Way field agents
  • Compile technical data to be presented to Right of Way project team
  • Support project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, vegetation management team, Right of Way managers and real estate coordinators as required
  • Attend and participate in public open houses as requested
  • Support Client needs as directed
  • Efficient at working independently as well as in team environment
  • Manage and oversee several projects at once

Real Estate Coordinator

Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $30.00–$32.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Days (First Shift)
  • Travel Requirements: Yes — valid driver's license required; must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary

The team is open to seeing Assistant and Staff Level candidates for this role (Assistant or Staff Right of Way Specialist). This is an urgent need, and the team is seeking two people. Local candidates only.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Electric facilities or railroads preferred but not required
  • Experience with Google Earth and familiarity with construction drawings is preferred but not required
  • Designation from IRWA not required but desirable
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma minimum — with 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Associate's degree minimum — with 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor's degree minimum — with 2 years of relevant experience required
Required Experience
  • HS minimum: 5 years relevant experience
  • Associate's minimum: 3 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's minimum: 2 years relevant experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required; must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges
  • MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check required
