Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager to oversee construction and renovation initiatives from concept to completion. You’ll guide cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure quality standards across diverse facilities to influence functionality and future operations.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management/PM and 5+ years of PM experience. Office-based with occasional travel; on-site presence during construction hours is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection, cost tracking, and performance metrics.
• Provide SME for structural, electrical, and mechanical issues, coordinating with facilities management.
• Develop strategies for contracted workforces and manage budgets and contracts.
• Write funding documents, supervise vendors and enforce contract terms.
• Escalate warranty issues and drive continuous improvement across projects.

Spectrum’s Real Estate Project Manager oversees a diverse portfolio of construction and renovation initiatives, guiding teams and stakeholdersthroughevery stage. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead projects from initial planning to implementation, managing operational details and securing stakeholder alignment
• Apply project management methodologies to deliver projects on schedule, within budget and in line with Spectrum’s quality standards
• Communicate updates to internal customers, collect feedback and report on project progress
• Oversee data collection, cost tracking, performancemetricsand service levels to meet project objectives
• Provide subject matterexpertisefor structural,electricaland mechanical issues, supporting other real estate functions such as facility management and strategic planning
• Develop strategic approaches to contracted workforces, manage budgets and capital development, and serve as the central interface for translating planning requests into engineering objectives
• Write funding documents, manage accounting codes, supervise vendors and consultants, enforce contracttermsand oversee zoning andpermittingprocesses
• Serve as the escalation point for warranty issues and support continuous improvement across all assigned projects

Working Conditions

• Office-based with occasional travel
• Availability required during all construction hours, including nights and weekends for on-site presence as necessary

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience

Education

• Project Management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum preferred

• Administrative and technical skills, including interpreting industry environmental standards for telecommunications and electronic data systems
• Understandingofconstruction cost estimating, life cycle costing and value engineering in design and construction phases
• Familiarity with site work retention, grading,drainageand zoning/site acceptability
